My Aching Head is a weblog (and hopefully sometime in the future a book) written about the joys of drinking, eating, having a hangover and everything that goes with it all.

We all wish we could have a huge night on the turps and wake up feeling like 120% . In the same vein, we all wish we could go out on the town every night and have the best night of our lives. Neither of these happen every time, so I’m here to try and help you, the punter, make these happen more and more.

I currently live in the alpine village of Queenstown, New Zealand. Around these parts it’s easy to get involved in a bit of a cocktail night, or 43 Jagerbombs followed by a deep-fried cordon bleu. You aren’t going to hear a blow by blow of my nights out, but you will definitely here about the fineries of the 24 hour supermarket.
