Hello!

I am a complete newbie to the world of blogging (having just written my first post ever last night!) and did not know these kind of events existed...Seems like a great idea to meet up with the people whose blogs you read and enjoy, and hear the advice, ideas and wisdom they have gained in their blogging experience!

Am loving the entries of yours I have read tonight....when I figure out how to link other blogs to mine I will defiantly link yours :)

If that is okay? Is there a blogger etiquette? Ahhhh so much to learn!

I tried to comment, but your blog ated it ...

all I wanted to say was I'm glad I wasn't too much of a wanker ;)

The kottke style interesting, and been thinking about it myself - time pressure as much as anything else. Will do test today.

Dude...vom-voms?

I was pretty over hung.
I loved the input from everyone, it was great, photography especially, since it isn't something I really focus on.
Pun not intended.

Voice is one of the major concerns occupying all writers! Personally, my blog does best when I am talking in my own voice and being distinctly 'me'. However, I have no aspirations towards commercialising my blog, and if I were running a blog intending to make money I would probably use a more professional tone. That said, good writers can be professional and nuetral while still maintaining a personal style/voice - I point to Phil Lees as a good example of this.
